On a chilly winter day, I decided to walk through the central environs of the Williamsburg neighborhood in North Brooklyn. The angle of the winter sun framed the day with dramatic light and shadows. This section of Williamburg is primarily residential - although, as you will see, the major avenues are a lively hub of commerce.
