Today I'm featuring a photo taken from the span of the Manhattan Bridge of what is known as Mechanics Alley, in the Two Bridges section of Manhattan's Lower East Side. In the background, you will notice the Brooklyn Bridge, 1 World Trade Center, as well as the large, blocky buildings of Knickerbocker Village:
