Manhattan - July 10-12, 2016

I've been busy! I spent the better part of the last three days (and some of the evenings, too) taking photos - I even managed to make my way to the second night of Manhattanhenge (much better than Times Square at New Year's Eve). I've also been making extensive use of my new wide-angle 16-35mm f/4L lens. It's a very difficult lens to work with - but when I get the shot right the results are ... well, see for yourself:

Also, two shout-outs are in order:

First, to Alphabet Lounge at 104 Avenue C, Alphabet City:

Great atmosphere, great vibe, great location - and amazing service. If you're ever in the East Village, take the short trip a few blocks further east and check them out!

Second, to Frank, the doorman at 260 Park Avenue South. Great, friendly guy, beaming smile - exactly why NYC is such an amazing place to walk in.
